The accident that happened yesterday, August 14, 2016 at Third Mainland Bridge,
killed 5 people while 13 others injured in Lagos state.
Punch newspaper stated that, three vehicles were involved in the crash which
occured at about 6:10p.m. The vehicles were a Lagos State government-owned
(LAGBUS) bus, a Toyota Hilux owned by a local vigilante group and a Rover SUV.
LASEMA General Manager, Mr. Michael Akindele advised drivers to minimise their
speed and obey all the traffic rules and regulations.
The dead ones have been deposited at the Mainland Hospital Mortuary by Lagos State
Environmental Health Monitoring Unit, SEHMU.
Meanwhile the 13 injured people have been taking to the Truma Center at the old toll-gate
