Saudi Arabia arrested three Nigerians from Kwara state for trafficking cocaine into Saudi Arabia.
According to NAN report, the three suspects went to Saudi for Hajj programme but
Unfortunately for them, they were seen with a substance that is cocaine
Hajia Fatima Abolore-Jimoh, the executive secretary of the Kwara Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board confirmed the arrest of the Nigerians who are also from Kwara.
She said the arrest happened in Madina and they were among the first batch of 505 pilgrims from Kwara state. They are still in the custody of Saudi Arabia authority and the punishment for such crime is beheading.
