At least 15 to 22 people died from a car bomb blast in Somalia’s capital Mogadishu, on Tuesday, August, 30 said by police.

The suicide bombing near the Somali president’s palace in Mogadishu destroyed two hotels nearby and wounded 45 others.

According to Reuters news agency said, Al-Shabab fighters have claimed responsibility for several recent explosions in Mogadishu, including a car bomb and gun attack last week at a popular beach restaurant that killed 10 people.

Among the people wounded are one minister and some state radio journalists but some government soldiers were killed.
