According to Vanguards reports, supreme court has fixed  September 20, being Tuesday, for ruling in the two appeal cases against the election of Governor Yahaya Bello.

Meanwhile the state’s commissioner of police, Malam Abdullahi Chafe has worned  that everybody must stay calm to avoid throwing the state into crises.

Chafe said he is working according to the intelligence reports at its disposal which revealed that some hoodlums were planning to disturb the peace of the state if the Supreme Court judgment should not go their way.

For this reason the Kogi state police command announced the ban at a press conference in state capital, Lokoja on Friday, September 16 and anybody that fail the law will face the punishment.
