Shi’ite school  has been vandalized and burnt down by some residents of Anguwan Rogo in Jos north local government area of Plateau state  to stop the sect members from performing their annual Ashura and Tashura procession , though no one was injured.

Captain Ikedichi Iweha, the media officer for Operation Safe Haven said the attack on the Shi’ite sect was a community mob action. To arrest the situation security agents have moved into communities in Anguwan rogo, Anguwan rimi, Bauchi road, Gansets fire onare, Katako where there are Shi’ite members reside.
